Osmanlı Devleti’nde yetimlerin korunması ve eğitilmesi görevi öncelikle yakın akrabalarda olmakla birlikte erken zamanda vakıfların bu vazifeyi üstlendiği görülmektedir. 19. yüzyıldan itibaren ise Eytam Sandıkları ve Eytam Müdürlükleri kurulmuş, Darülaceze, Darüşşafaka, Islahhane, Sanayi Mektepleri, Darülhayr-ı Âli, Daüleytam ve Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti bu alanda hizmet vermiştir. Bu kurumlardan Darülaceze ve Darüşşafaka aynı adla Cumhuriyet devrinde hizmetlerine devam ederken Himaye-i Etfal Cemiyeti Çocuk Esirgeme Kurumu olarak günümüze kadar gelmiştir. Ayrıca, mütareke dönemi ve sonrasında Kazım Karabekir yetimlerin muhafazası ve eğitimi için gayret göstermiş, kurduğu “Çocuklar Ordusu” ile önemli bir hizmeti ifa etmiştir.

The 5th International Conference on Social Science Studies (IConSoS)

Dear Colleague,
We would like to invite you to the 5th International Conference on Social Science Studies (IConSoS), which will take place on May 01 - 04, 2025 in Trabzon, Türkiye.. The IConSoS is an annual conference organized regularly. The conference is organized by the International Society for Research in Education and Science (ISRES).
The conference will be held face to face. However, there is also the option of online participation. Participants who prefer the online presentation must choose the virtual option during registration. After peer-reviewing process, all papers in English will be published in the Eurasia Proceedings of Educational & Social Sciences (www.epess.net). After the publication process, all accepted articles will be sent to the Web of Science and Scopus databases for review and indexing process. In addition, high quality papers submitted to IConSoS conference in full text are invited by the editors to the Journal of Education in Science, Environment and Health (JESEH) and International Journal of Assessment Tools in Education (IJATE). IJATE has been indexed in Web of Science (ESCI index) and ERIC indexes/databases. JESEH has been indexed in ERIC.
The IConSoS 2025 participants can submit book chapters to the books titled "Current Studies in Educational Disciplines 2025" and "Current Studies in Social Sciences 2025" published annually by ISRES Publishing. Journal and book publications are completely free for conference participants. Research articles are not accepted as book chapters. If conference participants wish to submit a book chapter, they should write about a theoretical topic in their field. After the annual book is published, they will be submitted to various databases (Scopus, web of science etc.) for indexing.
The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars, students, and administrators from different countries, and to discuss theoretical and practical issues in all fields of social sciences. The following main topics are the priority topics of the conference:

Ekim 2018'de instagram hesabımızda başlattığımız paylaşımlarımızı kısa bir süre sonra diğer sosyal medya hesaplarına taşıdık. Sonrasında da web adresinden hizmet vermeye başladık. Size daha iyi hizmet verebilmek için sayfamızın tasarımını yeniden düzenledik. Sizden ricamız daha yararlı olabilmemiz için gördüğünüz eksikliklerimizi bizimle paylaşmanızdır.
Bu çalışmada Başbakanlık Cumhuriyet Arşiv kaynaklarına göre Sağlık ve Sosyal Yardım Bakanlığı'nın nasıl teşkilatlandığı, hastalıklarla mücadele şekli ve sonuçları ile personel yetiştirme ve istihdam politikalarından bahsedilmiş, bahsi geçenlere dair veriler tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Ayrıca, bunların hayata geçirilebilmesi için yayımlanan kanun ve yönetmelikler ele alınmıştır.
